A monthly payslip of your parents or proof of scholarship or account statement. This has two reasons: Firstly we need to request if due to § 11 par. 1 of the student dormitory law and secondly because it is our objective to support especially people with lower incomes.

A transcript from the last semesters; Erasmus and internship confirmations for freshman; confirmation of university enrolment.

The fee must be payed monthly for the upcoming month in advance (e.g pay at the beginning of June for June). The fee must be payed latest on the 5th day of the month and via direct debiting system of your bank. (Please no money transfer order! Your bank can help you to chose the right transfer order) The fee includes heating and electricity costs.

You’ll recieve a room of the category and dorm stated on your contract. There’s no right for a “particular” room.

Double room means you’ll share one sleeping room with another room mate. This might be the chance to save some additional money.

On Campus Brigittenau, Haus Handelskai, Starkfriedgasse, St. Pölten and Wr. Neustadt you can have a single room right from the start. In all other dorms, you’ll have to start in a double, if no single is available. After moving in, you can put your name on the waiting single room waiting list. Following Austrian dorm law, the spokesperson committee (ger: Heimvertretung) of your dorm is responsible for this list.

During the opening hours of the janitor (see 2nd page of the confirmation you received from us „Erreichbarkeit der Heimwarte“ (Availability of the janitors).

After you moved out your deposit will be refunded latest 60 days to the account you stated on the respective refund sheet (a deposit-refund sheet can be picked up at the janitor’s office when returning the keys).

The contract can be terminated in writing (mail, e-mail, fax or directly with the janitor) at any time. However a two month termination period applies.

A twin room is a room for 2 people.

Combined single rooms means that 2 single rooms will share a shower, restroom and anteroom.

No, they are not.
