Personal data
For our work in the area of leasing residential space, it is necessary that your personal data is processed. The term “personal data” summarizes any information that directly or indirectly relates to natural persons.
We divide personal data into the following categories:

- Data on employment and work performance
- Special category data
Processing purposes and legal bases
The processing of personal data is on the part of Wihast for the purpose of providing living space in the sense of §11 StHG mandatory. Furthermore, data is required for the creation of a contract and support for existing usage relationships.
Scope of data processing
The processing of the data mentioned by you takes place to the extent that this is necessary for the proper establishment and processing of our business activities.
Forwarding data to third parties
In some cases, it may be necessary to forward your data to other companies. Your data will always be forwarded to other companies on the legal basis of the BAO, the UGB for the purpose of payment processing, collection, financial accounting and for the use of in-house Internet access. If the data transfer takes place outside the territory of the European Union, we still ensure that you comply with European data protection standards.
The categorization of recipients of personal data is as follows:
- Courts (including competent supervisory authorities) and competent law enforcement authorities
- Legal representatives (lawyer, public prosecutor, notary, etc.)
- Credit institutions
- External service providers (e.g. IT service providers for the operation of Internet access in the houses, the website and the central administration software)
- Public authorities
We would like to point out that the persons authorized to process order data are obliged to maintain confidentiality about all related information. This obligation can be presented on request.

Data transfer to supervisory authorities and courts as well as to other third parties
Wihast is subject to certain regulatory requirements. There is therefore a possibility that a disclosure of personal data may be required by a court or an authority. Right of withdrawal
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data on the basis of consent for marketing purposes or to withdraw your consent. If your data is processed by us to protect legitimate interests, you can object to it as soon as there are reasons for your situation that contradict the data processing.
